Yum yum. Hum hum. Hummus. I'd give 5 stars but they have limited options, but lots of hummus and other medi faves. Been here a couple times whenever business, you know, brings me to old San Fran, home of Metallica and Primus.

This place is the genuine deal. If you want to experience the most tasty and creamy humous outside of the Middle East, then Orens is where you need to be! And their pita bread is so tasty too, which isnt always a given with pita bread. Orens will guarantee you a satisfying food experience!!!!

The food is delicious, great middle eastern flavors! We had Babaganoush, falafel, Israeli salad, Pita. Plus a good spicy schrug on the side. Sat outside to avoid overly loud music inside. Service could have been better. I had to go inside to get my own water (was thirsty.) I wish the music weren't so loud inside. Very difficult to carry on a conversation. Turn it down! The food is great and is the main appeal! Sitting outdoors is not always a solution.

Nice fast service. Wish they offered more options in bottled drinks than mint lemonade. Beef/lamb pita sandwich was great and comes in a cute little box. Would return if I want one again.

After walking through the beautiful city of San Francisco and taking in the sights and sounds that included seeing a homeless guy fight a security guard in Walgreens and being harrassed for a cigarette that I don't have by a strung out older lady, I wanted to get off the streets and order a simple takeout meal to get myself back to homeostasis. Oren's was directly across from my hotel and looked like some clean middle eastern food, so I decided I needed to pull the trigger. It's a nice touch having a separate entrance for takeout, fairplay Oren. Fairplay. I went with the Chicken Skewer rice bowl with Tahini on the side. "That will be 50 cents extra." I said "what??" As I was genuinely not sure what she was referring to. "Tahini on the side is 50 cents extra..." she even shrugged her shoulders like this isn't my decision ahahaha. But I just kinda laughed and said "Uhm, okay" (Jay-Z voice). It was a maybe 6 minute wait to get my bowl, and I took it back to the hotel and demolished it. The bowl itself was delicious and I have 0 regrets, but for $19.97 it was a small portion and just not a lot of chicken. I'm finding SF to be like NYC expensive... it's crazy. I honestly would've given it 5 stars but that extra charge for Tahini on the side instead of on top was crazy ahahaha. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Ordered delivery from Oren's because we're in the middle of unpacking from our move. We have been looking for a hummus place since we moved to California, and this is the closest thing that we found similar to our fav spot in Philly (shoutout to Dizengoff)! Absolutely loved the toppings they offered on their smooth hummus- the ground lamb and the eggplant tomato stew. It was so incredible and lasted for two meals at least! We ran out of pita so I went to buy some more, so we could enjoy it for the next day. I'd recommend getting 4 pitas at least, for two orders of hummus. You'll appreciate it the next day! Also ask for the harissa!! We got the Greek salad too, which was fresh and crunchy!

Mediterranean food is always a hit, and I always love a good rice bowl Everything was so tasty and everyone liked what they ordered We took our food out to have a picnic at a local park, but when we saw the inside when picking up our orders we really loved the ambiance that I'd love to go back to have a dine in experience
